use it as please, been messing around with some ideas thoughts on it and think its a good way of managing poker bankroll personally and how im am currently doing going forward so far so good...., obviously though depends if your even winning first of all in he games line ups you are playing in, means naught if not.... and is just budget/recreational loss management (like if you were to stake the same on roulette each bet longterm you lose unless very lucky and run hot for your whole life... probably happens for some not like lucks evenly displaced) any way Bankroll management listed below, good luck unless playing me obviously ha

Texas Holdem Bankroll Management - if a pretty tight postflop player (preflop dont think how play makes too much difference other than if your frequently 3betting and inflating bloating pots with relatively wide ranges that will drive your standard deviation up) e.g. using lot of pot control lines pre and post actually etc avoid marginally profitable or odd breakeven spots (marginal loser with rake taken into account) play a small ball sort of game not an overly polarized game, odd big bluff but in prime spots, dont tend to like to get stacks flying and back and forth or playing for stacks with marginal hands aka a postflop tag, so standard deviation should be lower

PotLimitOmahaBRM again if a postflop tag (but also opposite BRM if in TexasHoldem your not a nitty player postflop and your happy to play lotta marginal spots, kinda along the same vein as omaha in a sense, also probably good for texas holdem live games where i think standard deviation (so short term variance) may be larger if lot of multi way pots large raises pre changing the stack to pot ratio and in turn how certain strength of hands should be played at those depths)

think the ability to jump about stakes means you should not be conservative in your brm until/if you get to the the high stake games

I’d say that’s a pretty good table I definitely appreciate seeing it. I use something similar to that myself for my bankroll management i just don’t see the point in having a 40+ buy in roll for lower stakes the way I see it 10 buy ins for your current stake and another 10 for the stake below you incase you have to move back down is plenty. It may only be me that thinks like this but I’d rather move up and down stakes quicker as that way you play against better players and improve your skill faster

I think it depends a lot on the type of tourneys you are playing. If you are playing 4$ MTTs, 9 buy-ins won't take you very far unless you are lucky enough to get a big result in the first ones. I wouldn't be comfortable unless I had at least 50+ buy-ins of whatever tourney I'm playing

Its always good to see something about bankroll management!

Way to many people dont have any bankroll management, and that only
leads to frustration, fear of playing correct, tiliting when loosing to a cooler
and eventually going broke and have to depoit again.

You did a good job there, and when people get the hang of their own
bankroll management they can adjust how they please ;)

I would say your br requirements are too low assuming you never want to go broke.

I would recommend 30 - 100 for any level even 0.01/0.02 these days.

I think the 30 Buy in number was the one given in Supersystem , which was published decades ago. Skill levels have gone up a lot particularly online and I think many players will go bust with 30-50 buyins nowadays.
