Hi everyone. Been a very long time since I posted for many reasons, but I'm back. I have logged in and scoped out many threads in this time though.

I recently had to cash out most of my money at FT for personnel reasons and left myself with only $9.15 in my account. I started playing $1.25 SNG's and after 20 of them I only managed to get account up to a little over $11:(.

I was not to pleased with these results and I was way under rolled for these games. That's when I saw something that caught my eye. $0.30 turbo satellite to the daily dollar.

At first I thought it was a total rip-off because they were charging 20% rake. Then I realized I was paying 25% for the $1 turbo's!

So far I have won 4 out of 6 (I know this isn't a big sample size:rolleyes:) playing 6 at a time. The quality of play is horrible and it's like shooting fish in a barrel literally! The top 2 get a buy-in to the daily dollar or unregister for T-dollars. Third even gets 25 cents of their money back.
If you are even decent at playing one table SNG's you should be able to easily overcome the rake and be very profitable.

Anyway this is going to be my game until I reach 45 T$'s at which time I will switch back to $2.25 SNG's. Me thinks this would be a good strategy for anyone trying to start from freerolls or if you're in a situation like mine.

After I take the time to go through my hand histories this week I hope to post some to get some feedback.

Good to be back guys!

I started With two dollars from a freeroll. And taking the advice of Chris Ferg I played with my 2 dollars in ring games till I could afford 3 one dollar MTT SnG's. Still building my BR but I think that if you can beat a game then you dont have to stick to BR rules.

I find that the MTT Sngs are easier than single tables and the prizes are better. I also think that with the deal option it is even better.

But if you found a game that you can beat then play it. I have patience but not that much.

Just finished another 6. Now I am 8 out of 12 with no third place finishes!

This is unreal. These guys make the $1.25's seem like high stakes:). I'm not even kidding. You could almost fold your way into the final two.

One thing I can't understand is Holdem Manager has me at minus $3.30 instead of plus and - 100% ROI instead of plus. Must be because it pays in T$'s.

I think it is a good way to build a br and I also agree that the DD sats are pretty easy to win.

Even if you only win 1 in 3 you are still making a (small) profit.

It may take you a while to get to your first goal of T$45 but I don't see you failing because the play is so terrible in them.

I would reccommend that you maybe try the 27 player $2.25 SNGs as they aren't too hard and your br will get a nice boost if you can win or even cash in a few of them.

Best of luck

If you don't get a bad run of cards that is. I have over %20 ROI in the $2.25 turbo's and have still dropped over ten in a row doing nothing wrong!

If you have the patience to play freerolls, you should easily have the patience to build your BR slowly but surely IMHO. But that's just my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, will most likely get sick of these and end up taking a stab at $2.25 single table SNG's when I reach about 20 T$'s.I will probably pay 4 of them, 2 at a time and if I lose them all will go back to the 30 centers. I rarely lose 4 in a row, but as I stated earlier, it does happen.

As for the multi-table SNG's, way to much variance for me. I'll stick to the single tables.
