Villian has been super aggro the last 15 hands. open shoving 20 or 30 bb and showing 8 high. then this hand happened? i basically made the call based on his play the last hands i saw. should i have folded and waited for a better spot?

I would prolly say better spot but I dont think this is a terrible play. I think theres a lot of hands in which you are good. If he was a maniac, he could be just bluffing. Once he shoves the turn, I would feel behind in this spot and possibly fold. I dont know how many hands he could have that you would be ahead of so I think folding is ok. You would still have 34bbs to work with.

Yeah i see. I didnt really think about it that way in terms of having over 30bb left

yea I agree with the better spot but I would like to know what you put him on when he bet out the flop, I have played alot of hands at this level and have foun that people just dont understand the game they get a pair and call and will die with it if they have two pairs well you seen the result of that. so in my opion and what I do is just give up my unsure hands wait for the spot I know i have them and then take all thier money because it will come with them kind of people. hope this helps

I honestly thought he was spewing or was holding just a dry ten. The last few hands he was a complete spewtard. But like you said, waiting on a better spot it the better move.

I'm saying as you played it up to the turn, fold the turn.

and yeah, when we play poker we need to have auto rebuy on so we always have 100bb minimum, easy way to think of it is you dont want to get AA when you have 40bb in front of you.

I would have just folded there, I can see how you might think you have him beat because he has been bluffing, but it is a new hand and he has different cards so it doesnt matter what he did before, if he puts you all in on the turn when draws could have been hit and theres a king out there you gotta fold no matter if you think you may have him beat. Thats a gutsy all in made by him if he is bluffing and odds are he is gonna continue to do so, so i would have just waiting for a better spot with a nicer hand.

It's easy in hindsight to say what we would have or should have done in hindsight. In reality, however, I have seen people refuse to fold less, so don't feel too very bad. We don't want to be that guy, though. For that reason, we need to try to put our opponent on a hand. That might be a little harder if their range is all over the place. But at the very least we need to consider the possibilities out there. We have to consider the fact that we can be outkicked right here. We have to consider the over card on the board. I don't always automaticaly give aggressive players credit for a hand, but when he ships 46x on the turn, you definitely need to consider that there are quite a few hands out there that have you beat. Stay mindful of the fact that a bad players willingness to play weak hands doesn't stop them from getting good ones and consider picking a better spot.
