This weekend I was at the Trump in AC. I joined a cash game (1/2) within the first hour I had my stack around $800. After knocking out jacks full against my queens full and flopping straight. I was on a nice heater. I get dealt 22 UTG +1. There are three players. Flop comes out AcKc2c I hit my set. UTG raises it to $25 I quickly reraise her all in (about $75 more). I kinda assumed the other guy after me would fold. He reraises all in (about $200) more. Im thinking about it for a while. I call and of course the guy after me flops the flush and I get no help on the turn or the river. I know most of you are going to say you should of just folded. Let me get some input first. I still did walk away with $2000 after a 9 hour session so I was happy about that.

Thanks

You can usually count out a set of kings or aces because those would normally reraise PF. Worst case then is the made flush. Even against this you have like 30odd percent equity. How much is in the pot for you to call? $430 with $200 to call, is that about right? I'm not very good at figuring it out based on live play write up. If so then your pot odds are approx 2:1, and with approx 2:1 equity, I prefer to call to make the overall play break even rather than a losing fold.

In summary: You had outs.

Funny, I had a similar hand come up just recently:-

Reads: CO was a maniac, so I figured I was good against him... even if not against the SB, so stacks + outs = shove 100% imo. Of course, I got 'lucky'.

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed)

BB ($9.25)
UTG ($19.08)
MP ($21.10)
CO ($44.41)
Hero (Button) ($41.82)
SB ($19.78)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K
