agreed. This is the part of poker that doesn't involve skill. Just luck. And you got a big dose of bad luck while the other dude got a huge does of good luck.

No kidding I needed a beer after that lol. In fact I had a few afterwards. But it's all good. I smashed the local tournament at the land casino and placed second for a $2514 payout so I think that $25 loss aint so bad.

The only thing that has me perplexed is in 12 years of playing poker I have never seen a Royal, at least in a real casino, but I've seen at least 4 on Bovada in the past year. I don't know, it just seems odd.

Your play was fine. After all, he could have a flush, straight or worse full houses or maybe a queen. You have the third nuts, almost nobody is getting away from the third nuts there.

If you are a regular on Bovada then you've probably seen 10x as many hands in the past year online than you saw in 12 years of playing live.
