Is it worth playing a cash game that doesn't have a bad beat jackpot. What if you hit it.

I never played a hands where I would have it so yeah, it probably doesn't really matter.... Unless it's a retardedly huge amount given the stake you are playing, which I doubt. Not to mention the jackpot is usually funded by rake anyway.

Unless it really is a life changing amount (6 digit figure), I'd steer away. Yeah I'm sacked for the occasional lottery type gambles (miniscule chance to win, but life changing if you do)

I mean really? You need at least quads over quads to get the pot? Even quads versus full house on a 2 pair board is very rare and I can count the number of times that happened with one hand over my 400k hand run.

Sometimes the BBJ and other promos in my local poker room save me money. Someone will hit quads or a straight flush and just check down hoping someone else catches for the a bad beat.

There was also a high hand promo at one point where the highest hand of the hour in the room gets $400. People would flop sets and just not bet/raise in hopes they peel off quads on the turn or river.

Just last night lost the last of my bankroll with a Ace high full house to quads. So I probably won't be playing there for another few months or so til I get a bankroll again. Thanks for the input guys awesome advice.
