This is a discussion on Automatic Repurchase is a Good Idea? within the online poker forums, in the Cash Games section; I saw in some posts saying to allow automatic repurchase to be activated, but would this hand give a false impression of gain?
I do not think it's a good idea, but then everyone knows what they do.

You mean automatic buyin when you lose below the maximum buyin? I have it enabled. I use a HUD to keep track of my profit and loss on that table.
Of course, this also means your BRM must be proper. If you are consistently losing money, then I guess you should turn it off to protect yourself.

re: Poker & Automatic Repurchase is a Good Idea?
If you don't auto top up , you are limiting the amount you can win and lose. if you auto topup you are maximising the amount you can win or lose . Do you play poker to win as much as you can , or to limit the amount you lose.
