Good ideas

That was a great article and I totally agree with most of your strategy, I think what you overlook is judging the table dynamics and other players. I base my strategy on noting other players habits and using them to my advantage. Example: I was in a tourney with a guy who always popped a big raise from the button if everyone limped in, however if it was raised preflop he would simply call. If I limped in, waited for him to raise and 3 bet him, he would fold everytime. Also, if I flat called his raise, he would always CB the flop no matter what came out. Once again, if I raised him, he would always fold. (I was amazed that no one else was seeing this and taking advantage of it.) So, I had to vary my strategy so that he wouldn't catch on to what I was doing. Part of the time I limped and 3 bet, part of the time I waited for the flop. Learning things like this is critical to poker success and should be included in any article about bet sizing because there are some people you can bet into and they are going to call regardless, others are just the opposite. However, I think your article is dead on with varying your strategy in different levels and with different hand strengths.
