MP bets $0.19

MP is a 50/29 over 14 hands.

While doing a hand review I saw this and try to figure out what the best course of action would be.

Calling- Very bad. Got like 3 outs to the straight (4outs-Jd) and if I do hit one of my cards then MP can easily make two pair or his own straight.

Folding- Resonable. I do only have A-high and IDK what other reason other than I would be playing pretty fit or fold against a LAGGy fish

Raising- Sounds like the right line. It takes the initiative, I am IP, and I am blocking some of MP's combos w/ my AQ.

What's my goal?

I would like to end the hand right now.

What if I'm called?

Most likely check the turn and realize my EQ in the hand. Then fold the river to a strong bet (maybe any bet) If I don't improve. Not sure if I call when a A hits the river w/out completing the flush.

What if Raised?

Fold.

Does this sound decent to YOu?

It sounds reasonable and if checked to on the turn I fire again. If I get called or raised on the turn I know I am toast without catching a card on the river. I like ot pressure this guy here and by betting again on the turn it looks like I am protecting a made hand. Of course if he has guts he could hang around but it is tough knowing he will likely face another bet on the river and maybe it will be a shove. If he knows that I can't see him calling without definitely having a strong hand. If the guy is a rock and he hangs around I follow your line.

Every option is resonable in cash game. Him betting 2/3 pot on a connected board shows weakness. Calling and Raising are resonable with you being in position and folding is reasonable if you don't think you will hit.

50/29 over 14 hands gives ME a player who raises hands that hit that flop K,T,suited conectors and limps everything else. standart 2.5 bb raise indicates not a monster (unless you've seen him slowplay)
folding here is good.
raisising?... maybe 1 street and fold to any reraise

You have a pretty strong hand IP facing an open in a 5 handed 2c/4c cash game. This leads me to want to 3 bet this open, because he is likely to be opening a much wider range and you can get some value from weaker hands, and you take the initiative in the hand. I'm only calling OTB in this spot if I feel villain if he is spewing chips off post flop. 3betting preflop will also make your decisions post flop a lot easier.
As played on the flop your hand is very under-represented and that flop hits his range a lot harder than it hits yours. With this being said you are a lot stronger than he should expect and I don't think folding is very reasonable at this point in the hand. Calling or raising are viable options but I think I would lean towards calling. When you raise this flop what are you trying to represent for value? If you are playing a reasonable range, You can have two pair hands such as KTs (T6, and K6 are pretty loose and not as reasonable), and some sets such as 66 (maybe the slowplayed TT and KK if you have these in your range). On the other hand, there are a lot of straight and flush draws that raise as a semi-bluff. This means that by raising you are representing a fairly narrow range of hands for value, and a wider range of bluffs. You are also only folding out weak draws/pairs. This leads me towards calling the flop, especially because you have some showdown value and have equity against the draws/weak pairs. Also if he is Cbet bluffing he might just shut down and you can take it down on later streets, with a bluff of your own, or ace high

Agree with sidetracked here. Just trying to take control of the hand is leaking money, but take a shot at your draw, and if he gives up you can take the pot away.
