You know, after trouncing around between 2nl, 5nl and 10nl for about nearly a year of serious ring game play, now I came to realize I have so much psychological leaks it is debilitating.

For instance, after losing 3 buy ins withing 30 minutes, tilt lolcalling TPTK on flop all in in single raise pots. not folding set on a 4 to a flush+straight board.
And then it's not helped by me checking my bankroll every few hundred hands. It's ridiculous, some kind of OCD? It further aggravates my tiltiness

Only thing that is probably keeping me from so far ever depositing again since built starting from 20 usd end of 2011, was that I keep a very nitty BRM of at least 50 buy ins for a level.

Still i'd like more psychological freedom

A longshot but I do wonder if there's an aid to poker psychology and bankroll management at the same time?

I'm thinking an App....which would essentially choose tables for you base on bankroll management rules you set and in-play you basically only see your bets in terms of BBs rather than money amount. Any such thing?

I don't think seeing bets in BBs is actually necessary. Preflop sizing is pretty standard and post flop you can use the "% pot" buttons for betting.

As for the tilting, try setting a loss limit for a session if you tend to tilt at some kind of break points.

BRM is the key and it is good that you have discipline there.

i have the same problem has you, and yes i agree with LD1977, the major reason is because sometimes i play too many hours, and after a while i saw that i did more money on the first 30 minutes than in 2 or 3 hours, in fact after 3 hours i lost all the profit on that session.

Well, identifying the problem is the first step. I think the best training is to get in the same situation, remember the last time, and don't make the same mistake. So basically.. play more poker and instead of being OCD about your BR, direct that neurotic tendency to making sure you have a good mindset every 30 minutes or so. I have to make sure I stay focused at the table - After a few hours I catch myself not paying attention and making bad decisions as a result.
