Haven't really got much cash game experience but when I do play I lose even when I play really tight. I live in minnesota so I am unable to play no limit cash. I am going to the card room with my friends on tuesday so I would like some tips on how to outplay others and come back with some money in my pocket.

Play tight, watch the table, try to get everyone drunk, and pay attention to your position. Oh and have some good luck. Yeah good luck will help.

Overcoming the rake at 3/6 when you may not have played much is a tough proposition. So.....have fun. Have some proper luck, and just have a great time. That's the winner for 3/6 live limit. :)

Most live players are going to be donks, especially at those limits. I'd suggest watching the players a little bit before playing - act like you don't know the game, check it out, and then after a few rounds act like "Oh, sure, I'll try it, why not, I'm at a casino, ya know?" Try to figure out their tendencies - calling station, bet every card, etc. In general, ignoring reads, against donks you're going to want to be pretty tight and play position. Try to stay out of the way of draws, and bet aggressively when you hit.

lol, what an advice, get everyone drunk

it works but its not a poker skill i guess

my advice is to not try to bluff anytime, if you dont get the flop you looking for then fold
play hands that can become strong or monsters

Adjust the hands you play to the number of players in the pot. 22 or 98s or A4s >>> ATo or KJ or A7o if there's a lot of players in the pot.
