I follow a strict schedule for Poker....study for one hour, play for two hours.
I had a good day earlier. I ran up a 25NL buy in too about 125.00$ It took me all day but I did it. At the end of the day my balance was 269.00$ on Bovada.
Now here is where things just go south. I am up late at night watching TV nothing to do. So i figure hey what the hell. Might as well hop on Bovada and make more money.
I do not study, I do not hand review and I go completely off track and just hop on a zoom table.
So here I am now, after putting in 6 hours earlier to grind that stupid 25 $ into 100$ in profit. Well it is all gone. My mind set usually at this point in the day is "just get your money in good" Wait for strong hands. etc.
Well i just lost all of my money and suddenly after 30-40 minutes have gone by I'm down the 100 that I won and I didn't even realize that I was on tilt the entire 30 minutes.....(all in first hand with top-two pair against a set)
I have a constant problem with doing this............I know that poker takes preparation each and every time at least that is what helps me. I run it up then run it right back down because of lack of discipline.
I honestly feel like quitting Poker this shit is just too stupid. I can't see how any human being makes a living doing this it is just pointless. No progress what soever.
