I take a break after an hour and a half for a cup of tea and a smoke; I don't screw around and try and be quick. When I come back I always find I'm kicked out of 1 or 2 tables and have to join a waiting list to get back in.

Now I don't hit and run, and I'm not constantly changing tables to bumhunt. I stay at the same tables for the whole session usually. Regs or fish, I'm happy to play all.

I understand why PS do this, but like the timebank increases the more you play, would it kill them to increase break time for those who stay put for a longer period?

It is a set limit. I cant remember what it is, but I think 3 orbits, and then you are out. Good rule IMO.

actually I find it annoying when I try and find a table and people are sitting out at it if you need a break simply take it, then come back and buy in on a new table there's only several thousand tables going at any one time.....scorp

Yes, I know it's a fixed limit, and it's 4 orbits...

I see why the rule is there, but if you are at the same table for an hour you deserve a little bit of extra respite. You get familiar with the players at a table, and now you have to buy into a new table because of a rule made to combat bumhunting aholes and ratholing sh1tbags?

Yea its annoying to see people sitting out, but that's why an incremental sit out time would be better, so people don't abuse it. Also, start with 3bb for new players to the table, building from there.

What is annoying is on tables that are not full, players can sit out for as long as they want; As long as the table does not fill up while they are away.

It makes perfectly good sense for that though. Not sure why it's annoying. It's like anything else, if you are doing something like playing pool for example in the pub and there's a wait list for people wanting to play but someone who has been playing for an hour decides they want a break would you think it's reasonable to keep that table reserved for them just because they have been playing for a long time? If someone is waiting to sit at a table and someone is sitting out then it makes sense to keep a time frame for the same amount of time regardless if you have been playing 10 minutes or 10 hours.

It's a fine rule. I only use autoseat now but before I would hate it when I was table selecting and two/three of the seats at a good table were being used up by people just sitting out. It just seems like a total waste. I'll only ever sit out if a friend calls me or I have some immediate need to take my focus away from the game and will be returning quickly. Anything other than that, like the end of a session or taking a break, I just sit out next BB and leave.
