Does anyone on here discuss PLO through Skype/Teamviewer? If not would anyone be interested in talking some PLO or doing HH reviews/sweats, etc? I'm always looking for more people to chat with as I feel this is one of the better ways to improve your game.

I have experience in PLO from 10plo-600plo a fair bit so if you're interested or already have something going just let me know as I'd be down. :)

I don't think you'll find many people above 10PL on CC to be honest. If you're not already in our Skype cash game group you should join. Has good HH reviews and poker talk but also is a good laugh.

For a PLO skype discussion group i'd try posting on 2+2, you'll get a lot more responses from mid-stakes regs.

Ya I assume there'd be some folks on 2+2, just wanted to ask here first :). How would I go about joining the skype cash group?

FWIW the top mid stakes PLO players seemed to have gone missing in action. Vanquish quit a few weeks ago and I haven't seen Marginal around for God knows how long....

Short stacking in PLO is about 30x more volatile than doing it in NLHE. Whereas you might want 75-80 short stack buy ins for NLHE you're going to want at least 100-125 to do the same in PLO as the swings are just going to be redic massive.

I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but it is definietely not the "safest" way to build a BR, or improve your knowledge of the game for that matter as you're going to be forcing lots of very low SPR situations for the flop that take all of the necessary skill and finesse out of the game.
