On the button with AA a raise and reraise get called even before it gets to you.

Another reraise here probably isnt going to push anyone out.

Is all in a mistake here?

I figure I dont care if they know I have AA, I WANT them to know at this point. I got the pre flop nuts take your chances.

I bring this up because it happend only I did not go all in. I re-raised and all the people in stayed in.
I lost the hand.

Who had you beat? Chances are, it was the guy who may have folded to your reraise. I'd've pushed depending on chipstacks/position in tourney.

The long standing rule is- 3rd reraise is either AA or KK. Certainly, in what sounds like one of those "cold deck" specials, who's ahead preflop? YOU! Get it all in there, you might force somebody/anybody out. You don't wannaplay aces against a crowded pot, you want to isolate as much as possible.

Tough luck that you lost... but with that action in front of me with AA, my day just got brighter and I'd probably hurt myself hitting the all-in button. I don't know if you were asking if you should have just smooth called or pushed, but with that kinda action all your money was going in preflop or on the flop... so push.

I NEVER smooth call or slow play AA. I seldom slow play any hands anymore, just seems to bring more trouble than $$$.
I have lost A high flushes to boats and boats to quads so I seldom slow play anything. I may go for a check raise but dont get raised and raise next card but thats about it.

I did the 3rd raise for the size of the pot and people still called. I figured it would push out anything but KK and abother AA.

( lost a AA vs AA before..... he got the flush ...GRRRRRRRRR).

Looking back Im wondering if I shouldnt have just gone all in.

QQ won that hand after hitting their trip.

As stated above anything less than a shove is just giving lesser hands a chance to catch up. Might as well assure yourself some of those invaluable "Slansky Dollars".
