I think I might use this to my advantage. Just for fun, I went to $1 sng to fool around. I won the tourney but I pissed lot of people off. After winning, if I was favorite to win and I eliminated someone, I would say "YES, THAT"s WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT" if I was underdog, I would say "WOOHOO GOD LOVES ME". people were telling me to shut up. I told them, "go f00k urself. don't be mad just bcz i got more chips than u and that i'm better than u" When I keep raising the blinds and everyone folds, I would induce bluffs, show them my cards, and then call them "pussies". People got mad, they called me with Q 8 suited, etc.
I started talking lot of shlt and then since I was chip leader, I kept raising and pissing people off, stealing blinds. One time, this guy all ined, I got caught bluffing, but i was pot-committed, I called with 5 8 offsuits, got lucky and eliminated him. But when I got good hands, people would move in with anything against me because they think I'm fooling around and they have this anger that tells them "you should f--k this guy up and shut him up"
Do you think this can be good strategy to the game or do you think it's an asshole approach to the game? Although I'm a nice guy in general, I tested this just to see if provoking people's anger is likely to put them on tilt easily.
My hypothesis: More anger and hate you have in your mind against someone in the table = more likely you'll call any raise with any hand or your marginal hands will be more loose, lose the tight-play and go on tilt easily.
Of course, smart people won't fall into this and just simply mute me. And then try to play best solid poker, ignoring asshole actions and playing their cards. But for people who get emotional and get angry easily, I think this might be good strategy. What do you guys think? Please don't hate me or call me names. I did this just for the test as an experiment. I am generally a nice guy and I like to help and have nice games.
