Am I playing too many hands from the blinds?

So I had a look at my statistics from a 37k sample (6max) and it turns out that ive played near enough the same amount of hands from BTN, CO, SB and BB. My BB losses seem very large (treble my SB losses). Every position apart from the blinds are in the green. I defend my blinds a lot and don't like people stealing but the amount ive lost from the BB seems huge!

How should the percentages of hands played be spread out over each position? Specifically for 6 max.

You will always show a loss from the blinds. That is normal. If your BB are 3x as big as your SB, then you need to find out why. You are probably calling or defending too much. Defend vs the right player, and be very choosy in your hand selection. If you are playing the same amount of hands from UTG as you are from the BTN, then you are not playing with any positional awareness.

You need to differentiate between players who are stealing your blinds and players who are playing a hand they want to play. Once you think you know which is which, then look at your hand strength. If someone is obv. playing a strong range, they are probably not stealing, thus you should only defend if you are strong. If someone opens their LP often if UO to them, you can re-steal more liberally.

But it goes much deeper than that. You need to think post flop play before you get involved from the blinds. Folding is almost never wrong if you dont know how to proceed on later streets. I will try to go into more detail later, or someone else will. But if you dont have a plan for post flop, folding will never be bad.

I preffer something like SB 15 BB 17 CO 32 Button 44 (or even more). Abusing the Button, on microstakes esspecially, is very profitable, blinds in the other hand are simply blood in sand. You 3bet (AK, AQ ect) large, fish call with garbage and still win because of positional disadvantage.

It may not be as simple as just looking at your play from the blinds and assuming everything else will remain the same. For instance, if playing loose from the blinds helps create an image that improves your profitability from other seats, then it's a question of balance.

At 6 max, mostly steals and surely one would raise preflop.
Thats why blinds mostly losses.
How about trying 9 max and observe what will happen?

Agree with this. Sometimes I will defend my blind with air just for the meta-game aspect of it.
