This is a discussion on all-in within the online poker forums, in the Cash Games section; Okay, advice. How high a pocket pair to go all-in? I consisttently go all-in pre-flop on jacks or better. Is this wise?

This is in the wrong section, should be poker strategy/ learning poker (a moderator will move it later). There's not really enough information in your Q either
...also, to answer your earlier question, there is not a daily post limit. You might want to take it easy though, since you've been a member for awhile and 90% of your posts are on the day posting req. start.

I usually don't go all in pre-flop. Sometimes I do if there's fish at the table, but mostly I throw out a nice raise and see what happens. Sometimes if nothing comes out higher on the flop, I will then push all in. It definitely depends on my chip stack and what position I am in. I'm not a big fan of JJ

re: Poker & all-in
Depends on your stack size, 10BB or less, almost any pair. A-A or KK early in a tourney, if the table is extremely active.

I have a rule - Go all in on AA - Reason is - I just HATE HATE HATE losing when I have AA because of not scaring away the flash draws and such on the pre flop. So many times I lost when I had AA that for now on I leave it to statistics - I.e. all in pre flop.
