But... were getting floated tons and 2barr is too expensive so i tend to fit or fold with the intention to balance checkraising QQ+ at the same spot. easier to stack off of course but 3betting at 12bbs reduces setmining i guess.
I still think though its a weak play and get exploited too often so i would like to get some wisdom from u guys what do u do here? up to 25nl fit or fold and at higher stakes 2barrel or 2bar-3barr all stakes anyway cause its superstrong vs weak calling ranges? please share ur opinions cause ship is sinking! thnx in advance!

not 100% sure what ur actual question is. AK can be 4bet in most situations. QQ can be 4b in almost all situations.

i didnt know i sounded that crazy but ill try again cause the topic is hot. someone raises on the button and us(hero) are reraising on the blind with AK. we miss the flop( hit nothing,no pair, no draws ) so we want to understand our opponents stats or create a standard line for specific types of boards and decide what to do. e.g. check and fold, make just a continuation bet and give up or double barrel-triple barrel.

I have to admit I want some answers from the top players here as well. Getting 3b called and OOP has felt to be a big problem to me postflop.

If the player raising the button is a loose player who raises the button with a wide range, 3-betting is the way to go at least some of the time. If you do this, though, you need to c-bet when called. This is a huge show of strength, so if you get called again on the flop, shut it down unless the turn changes your hand. Most loose players will call a 3-bet on the button and fold to significant action if they miss (they'll miss most of the time).

I think this is VERY player dependent. I know a guy that is capable of calling with air or raising after the river if he wiffs the slightest bit of weakness on your part. I also know a player who may call one barrel but almost never calls 2 barrels without at least something that would have showdown value. Both guys are super strong position players, but I think the first guy might be half psychic at the table with some of the calls and raises I seen and heard of him making. The other guy relies more on the math side of poker.

If you lead off on a CB fire a half pot+ bet and if they stay in after that, back down. Obviously that depends on the texture of the flop and who you are playing against though. If they are a calling machine try checking it over and raising.

This is also going to be very flop dependant as well as opponent dependant. A paired board is ideal to cbet on and if they call there then often they have something so you can probably safely slow down after that. A wetter flop would mean they might have called with a draw so sometimes you have to 2nd barrel to get them off.
