When you grow from the fishes, you will know, that AJo is bad cards in early position, especial if someone raised. From my experience AJ VERY VERY often crashed by any AQ+, or pocket pairs on the wood board.
However, if it is situation when most opponents folded, you can play push with AJo. In this case you have more chances to see opponents A7o+, KTo,s,+
In the other hand making call with AJs you have nice chances to get NUTS flush draw.
