So I was wondering what are some strategies to play against very aggressive players. For example, players who raises a lot when you are in a hand, etc. Thank you for any advice that you can give me.

Ps I usually play micro stakes if that matters. (I usually play 10 cent tables or 25 cent tables. Also I was wondering if the strategies would change if you play at a higher stakes.

Well, my friend, the only defense for aggressive players is aggressiveness, wait your moment and be aggressive too, preferably the high hands avoid playing against the villain, analyze your game and attack when you have a chance. Ah and the higher the prize, The higher the level of players, gain experience and when you feel the confidence in your game go to higher levels.
Ok.
We are together.

When I find myself at a table playing against a very aggressive villain ... my strategy is to be patient and wait an opportunity with a good hand and be very aggressive against that villain ... if you manage to win a pair of hands ... you win Your respect and you can have control on the table ...!

Responding to aggression by aggression can lose everything, but wait for a convenient moment and play aggressively you can multiply your capital !

As I just mentioned in another thread......I'll reraise them with very strong hands but at LEAST as often i'll simply call them down lightly.

Pay special attention to how the player plays. For example..I noticed a certain player who would bet 2/3 of the pot on the flop with a draw or small pair, again on the turn with air, and he'd either check or bet 2/3 pot on the river with a small hand or air. He'd always shove with a good hand.

You'll notice your stack size changes quickly but if villain is betting/raising too often with weak hands........and you play mostly good hands...your range is much better than his. So call him down with second pair sometimes...or if u have a good draw jam the turn if you've seen him fold to this move.

I've noticed this type of player seems scary at first. But actually, if they are a poor player and way over aggressive......they are just giving away their money. They are by far my favorite type of opponent at lower levels.

I agree with latter comments. Keep calling draws and folding when you don't have positive ev to make the call. They need to be allowed to be aggressive. Let them. Just don't call unless you have a made hand. That's counter intuitive to how were taught to play. But it works.

I just made a 2 dollar table a 8 dollar table at 1/2 full of maniacs. Lost my first buy in due to being sucked out on the flop. Finally hit a ace high flush draw, went all in and hit two callers. It doesn't take much.

Against aggressive players it is very difficult to play

Against aggressive players it is very difficult to play because they constantly raise and do not let you see the flop. There are two options here, or be even more aggressive or wait for the right moment. I still like to wait for a good card, then more chances to win. It's right to be aggressive in case you have a big stack or you're a chip leader in the tournament, in other cases be aggressive silly

a smart player that is aggressive would know more better when to stop if somebady is tight and wait for a good card he will just reraise the aggressive player preflop and he should fold down ... when his range will hit a good hand and you put it on bluff you are done. Better play aggressive and just fold it to tight players who are reraiseing you.

Wait for your moment and strike his aggression with ur strong hand. You must always keep in mind that if he is with larger stack you can easy make him doubles u up, and must hope he wont get super lucky river :)

It's important to make a value bet for value as often as possible, see as many flops as possible and then lure your opponent into the trap, expect strong hands pre-flop like AA, KK, QQ

your range wil be a lot smaller when playing against an aggressive player. if you can slow-play him a few times he might become less aggressive but its ofcourse rather risky to do
