I just can't believe how aggressive some players are at bodog. I have never seen anything like it in the other sites I have played at (I know I am probably on tilt but hey its just so frieking frustrating) I am playing 10NL for gods sakes:deal:

Other than the old adage:
when playing with table full of aggressive players you may want to slow down and trap

Any other advice? Kicking my dog is not an option:p

All you can do is slow down and see what they are being aggressive with. Pay attn to when they are raising and with what if they show. If all else fails switch tables I play 10nl there some just run different.
Good luck
If you see Father flush, very aggressive but extremely lucky maniac. He hits majority of the time, don't bluff him, lol

There is a difference between Maniacs and Aggressives. Maniacs are money machines as they will pay off your big hands you just have to be patient. Aggressives will take your monies but not give any back, if that is the case find another table you can beat.

I have played there a few times and I thought some played aggressive but for the most part it was ok.I played in a tourney and did pretty good. To me there's aggressive players at all the sites some worse than others. I watch those who are playing aggressive and alot of times they'll raise really high and if you watch the way they bet as the cards fall you can tell if they have hit or not.Especially if they lower a bet then you know either they didn't hit or they have a low kicker, some even after the turn start to check. Then some like to lure you in lmao.Paying attention is the best rule, hehe or leave the table.Guess that would be hard to do if you're in a tourney.

What I like to do is fold, fold, fold, and look at the aggros to determine who is pushing all-in with a marginal hand to get lucky. If they win and stick around you can guarantee they'll do it again in a little while. Make them your bank machine for the evening.
There's no way to get around tightening up to preserve your BR. This just makes the time pass more easily while you're waiting and wishing you could play.

I believe that a lot of the online bad beats come as a result of people being over aggressive. People will get tired of having a decent starting hand just to see an overbet come in after them. The over bets on a suited flop just to steal will catch up with those players sooner or later. Sometime a player will call with just a one outer because they have just gotten tired of it happening to them and hit that one out river card, which produces a bad beat post by the consistent over better.

When bodog first came out, they did a ton of promoting at colleges, I believe that is why there are so many aggressive people there. Lots of young hot shots, with no patients.

all you can do is to slow down and pay attention to their play, because many players at bodog that i noticed like to bluff a lot also so the best thing to do is pay close attention. <good luck>

u need to play your game-these players are willing to die in order to live when they play-so you need to find a way to counter their
aggressiveness
you need to pick your spots alot careful if you find that they are just to aggressive and have an edge on you based on that i
suggest you leave the table and find a more suitable opponent-

its not about pride its about exploiting weaker players-now if you know you are better than them u will eventually have to take a stand and start fighting back-hope this helps-the_urge27

Yeah play your game. Limit your calls. Call with Cat. &2 hands. Luck plays an important factor sometimes . It also depends upon the aggression .. most importantly you gotta limit your calls ; n you'll be up in the long run ;) Cheers :)

i am an aggressive HU player but i am more solid when its normal game play,,,
its super funny and i have to giggle when the blinds are tiny and you get some that bet 15-30 times the BB and show like AT unsuited and complain they get no callers lol...
Theres always a time to be aggressive and a time not to be, its finding the balance that takes time

Are they aggressive or are they aggressive maniacs? When I'm playing on a table with LAGS, I'll tighten up my play and not resort to playing back at them at their own game as I will surely lose. Instead I'm raising with my good hands and am opting more often for check-raising. GL.. it can be frustrating. Pick out who's gonna pay you off or find another table. I prefer an aggressive table over a predominantly loose passive table myself.
