In my experience at the micro levels, there is no such thing as small ball poker unless you're playing a trny. The whole basis of small ball is to see alot of flops, mostly from late pos. ( which at micro levels is easy to do because the players either over raise their premiums, or limp with rags wich allows you to see alot of flops.
Now, if you can pick off players that are bluffing
at you or will call you down with nothing, ( which still happens ALOT) that, IMO is the real secret to becoming a good small ball player. The problem is at the micro levels, I don't believe SB poker can exist. For the simple fact that the play sucks that bad and hardly anyone can tell what your doing to begin with.
