I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out the hand history. Looking like 3 handed? I'm not sure, whatever.
Main point is £7.92 effective stacks.
On the flop (£1.74) you have an overpair with a draw to nut flush and you bet (£0.72). Are your cbets usually this small?
I'd be betting more like £1.20-1.50 on the flop, giving us a turn with (£4.14) and effective stacks of £6.35. Should be able to get stacks in from here.
Even as is at the turn you gotta bet. The spades are clearly there. If he doesn't have a hand so be it, he'll fold. But you're not setting this guy up to get stacked by checking through. You have a hand, bet it!
River is weird, I think he has another one card flush and you both "trapped" each other. But sometimes villain shows K9/KQ, or is just spazzing.
I just re-jam this river because I expect villain to call with a bunch of flushes here.
Saw results, and just wow. I vote he misread, because my read was he had the flush and I like being right .
