Also, they depreciate due to the fact that you can't reload. If your in a tourney wit 1 chip, and it's the bubble...ask yourself how valuable that chip is.
Thanks for the replies, and yes that is exactly what I'm asking. Is there a shotgun method of calculating the depreciation of the chips in your stack?
I find myself with an above average holding and a short stack pushing.
I can handle the beat if I lose, but Ill have some ground to make up. I sit there and go into the tank to calculate, but well its a lot of math to do on the spot. After calculating pot odds
, everyone at the table stacks, and where ill be if i lose or win, any implied odds, folks still in the hand to act behind me, then are those chips even worth making a play at.
I need a shortcut.
