At the start of the year i changed my regular weekly visit to the pub tourney to instead playing cash.

To be up and down and gradually becoming slower losing player online, i heard the players at the casino were much softer.

I played home games and then used the money to visit the casino... In that time I've gone up to 2500.... and I've been up and down until lastmonth. Now I've been facing my greatest downfall yet and I've just lost another 200 tonight.

Hmmm I just hope it's all about maturing as a player. I had a couple rules I'd had followed start with $200 and leave when i hit $350 and go... that may sound crazy for some but it was actually winning with my game play. When i stay longer and fool myself i'm a long term grinder i end up walking away empty handed and theres nothing worse than that.

1/3 turbo live.
4 limpers to me and i raise $12
I get 4 callers.

Q 10 5 rainbow flop ... action checks to me, i raise to $50......BB calls and he has me covered with about $370 and i have $320
turn comes out a 2... i raise 100 and he reraises me...

I know i'm in deep **** but i call and he has a set... Grrr over valueing top pair top kicker... Man my leak in my game is while defending not letting those go. he had trip 5's oh well he was a loose player and i was well respected... A lot expected me to have set of Q's

Anyways i let myself down and now i'm facing with a decision whether to just put my remainding online $500 or just tell myself next time to not overvalue and check the turn at least and see where i'm at... I know i can beat these guys at the casino but can i beat myself is the question.

Playing more fpp tourneys lately to see if i can make the money that way and then accumulate around 50-100 and restart cash.

Hmm tough decision... I'm learning a lot and even 3betting well, now I've been starting to put people on hand ranges and practice that skill.. I still have a long way to go but it's not all about the poker side of things but the mental aspect and just discipline, keeping to my own rules.

I've built it up from 200 i can do it again... Just i hate losing and i don't want to lose it all nor do i want to play with scare money.

****The upside is this time last year i was spending $40 a week on pub tourneys and this year it's all been paid for from the casino players**** ... about $500 has gone to online and lost it, but I've always figured it's all about learning at this point and just paying to learn... just the hardway. I guess theres worse players out there who have been spending money this year. Anyways every $1 i lose even if its not from my own pocket, it stings and hurts me

The upcoming month or two will definetly tell the story if i can handle pressure and recoop.... Unfortunately i love a challenge but maybe ive created this challenge mentally argh! :) anyways enough rambling on.

Neways playing freeroll tourneys and going to be playing $1 tourneys ... And repop soon and play cash at pokerstars.

Time and time again. For goodness sakes fire a cbet.
And if you decide to raise turn, do it much bigger to prevent flush draws from having odds to call. Geez

All your hands have glaring mistakes I notice. Are you sure you're absorbing anything?
