August is nice. We get our money and it's a holiday here in switzerland.

Looks like a trend for the monthly titles has started....

I must be slow but I actually just realized something..... fish gets their monieszz back ('we all get paid') meaning there'll be a bunch of free dollars to be had on the tables! weeeeeeeeeee

yeah, good news about the fish. but Im sure some of them have/will never visited a poker froum(from the way they play), so might be slow in realising FT is coming back!

Bought a new monitor to 12 table with eventually. Currently winging it break even at 5nl lol

One of two things will happen with the new screen

1. I actually start losing rather than break even because I get greedy
2. I actually start losing rather than break even because I watch surf the net on one half while "playing" poker on the other


Goals

50k hands, got a week's vacation from work this month
Learn more about dealing with 8 percent 3 bet monkeys in the BB
Attempt to stop destiny mentioned above

Seen you last night 3betting the non folder to 3bets to death lol (ric something??), guys a total reloading 20+ tabling fish and you were on his right to my right, which sucked lol lost a stack to him when he 4bet KK vs my AK though, but then seen him 4bet AQ from the SB so still working on a strat to beat him when he 4bets!

Anyways, IN!!

- Carry on 20 tabling 10 and 16nl for the month.
- Not be break even like last month.
- Huge (for me) volume and huge profits to have me within spitting distance of 25's by september

Last goal would take a mammoth month though as if im gonna attempt to 20 table 25nl then i'm gonna need about $750 MIN, +$400 in august, gogogogogo

Jakes right for once. You are not gonna be able to play poker 20 tabling 25nl, and if you have even 4 sub-optimal tables then they will counteract 4 of your good tables... So really you'd be better playing 12 tables and not being a robot! Maybe its fine 20 tabling at 10nl or 16nl if you think its an easy way to get to 25nl, but if you wanna move up to 25 and 50 robot mode probably wont cut it, i dunno though, like you say it does make you tighten up and play a straightforward game which is cool, but its inevitable that you are going to miss a **** ton of squeeze, 3bet, steal opportunities, and you'll probably play straightforward postflop like most of them 20 tablers do, you won't exactly have time to put people on good ranges and work out whether this flop is good to bet and whether x turn cards will get him off so much % of his range etc.

tl;dr

play less tables when you move up to 25nl (until you crush it maybe?)

thin value river spots will mostly be missed where you can be betting 1/3 pot or something vs a fish with 2nd pair or something that you will just hit check as its more convenient

also September goal, quit poker if jesus makes $5k

That guy is awesome, he is prob the biggest fish on nl$16 and hes on same time every night. Just 3 bet him in position all the time, he will call and fold flops. He 4bet bombs QQ+. Never seen him do it with AQ though.

For me August will be awkward volume wise but will look to put in at least 40k 4 tabling 50 (+ a few juicey 100s).
