Hi all. Online play at the river, I had hold cards QS JC and the other had 6S 6H

The cards on table was as follows... 6C QH AH QC 10C

May sound stupid but, shouldn't I have won?
Thanks all!

No such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers!

Welcome to cardschat and thanks for posting your question!

I would answer it for you but rotty has already beaten me to it... :)

Welcome to CardsChat :)
Looks like your opponent had a full house to your 3 queens.
6s 6h 6c Qh Qc
Qs Qh Qc Ah Jc
This. ^

You're only losing to bigger queen's, flushes & full houses so it's a bit of a cooler!

Better luck next time & all the best,

It isn't a special thing.

It'll worry about it and advance it.

How could you win if he had a full house and you had a set.

Starting hands in poker,"monster hands ".According to statistics,a player receives a pair of aces or kings once every 110 hands.Even aces or kings can be beaten. The more opponents you have, the less chance of winning even with such cards. This means that you should raise as much preflop as possible to weed out some of the players. You need to be especially careful with kings:if an ace comes up on the flop, then another ace will easily beat you.

Just as they answered before, warning you that the opponent would have made a full house and you only a set, I tell you to always try to set up your games with all five cards, so you can visualize things better and understand that your game, even though there is a bigger three-card draw, the bigger game is the full house.
