I started playing poker 6 months ago as soon as I was 18. I play in San Diego California at Sycuan casino. My gameplan is pretty simple. I will enter the table and raise with hands like KQ, AJ, AQ, AK, 10's, JJ's, QQ's KK's, and Aces. I will continution bet every flop no matter what. For instance I raise $15 preflop and get heads up with my opponent, flop comes 9, 10, 5, throw out $20 in the pot depending on how quick the call is will determine if I give up or keep barreling on the turn, and river. Once I have an image of being aggresive I sit back and wait for even more premium hands. Set mine, check raise constantly. Once I have a read on most players at the table I will check raise with air in certain spots, most of the time with over cards to the board. Or monster draws.
What works out is that I bulid my stack from $200 which is what I buy-in for and get it up to $350-$425, now I have chips and have more room to bluff, or see draws for cheap. What makes me money is "sets", they take stacks ! They are impossible to see which is great for someone with top pair top kicker. I will sit at the table for hours on end not getting jack shit for cards, but everybody gets run of good cards and thats when you make your money. It's all about miniumzing your losing hands, and waiting for that perfect spot where you get a great hand that beats the other players hand. So at the end of the night I walk out with $250 on average, my average loosing day is about $110 or less. So 6 days I will will roughly $250, and one of the days I lose $110 or less. Its tax free and I get free meals/clothes/drinks/smokes at the casino. Most 1-2 NL players are there to loose a couple hundred dollars then leave or go to the slot machine. While the few players do it for a living and prey on the "gamblers" and take there money by playing fewer hands and being patcient. And or out playing in general.
Thats it, probily left a ton of stuff out but whatever just thought i'd share about my experience playing poker. :)

Overall that's pretty solid. I am not sure what the rule is about posting links, but do a search fro the following article, it is quite good.

The ultimate guide to crushing 1/2 no limit holdem

It is just tight play, but it works. You can adjust it as needed,
