I'm in middle position with AJs . we're playing a one-two home game but it is a very loose game. Preflop utg position who was barely seeing any hands (walking between poker and watching a football game)have 300 chips in front of him raised 26.( keep in mind this is a very common raise at this table and I mean this hand is probably raised to this amount 65% yes 65). Utg+1 calls but he is a calling machine. The pot is now 55 chips. I have 83 in front of me and I go all in. I get a call from the LJ 240 chips(loose non passive) and cutoff 500 chips(extremely loose) . Board Ks8d2h9d5h. LJ had A8o CO had 77. My thought process... This was my first hand in a while. I was taking beatings and had tightened up. I was outplayed twice by something that went against what I had studied for a 1/2 game. When I made the show I felt that it was the right move especially against the two opponents that were in front of me. I figure the cutoff would call because he was calling anything almost therefore it was a good opportunity with higher value cards to make that move. What are your thoughts on this so that next time I'm facing this kind of scenario I will make a better decision thanks.

Your move is fine, not great but fine, as you said table was very loose. In scenarios where you are not really deep, and people will play any two, theres not much to do but to play few hands but play them aggresively. You could also try to see as many flops as possible (in position, with decent hands like 9-10s+), and hit hard when you connect, but when raises are 13 bbs that looks difficult.

There are better spots. Based on your description you are likely to get called by both players and possibly more. You are really just hoping to catch a good board and win at showdown. Your equity is probably not terrible, but I doubt you are any kind of favorite. Download a free trial of Flopzilla and analyze the situation. It is super helpful.

I think in loose games there's more luck than anything in who wins (more like bingo). Don't beat yourself up about it. I tend to try and get away with seeing cheap flops ( go fishing) and when i connect see who will bite. Other than that try and adjust the structure so people play more educated or find new friends (abit radical). My local (family) club plays and its quite loose with the range of hands played and a lot of chasing. Luckily its cheap to play so i just enjoy some cheap poker and take it for what it is. I think your play was about right as you cant work calling machines

Decent play being short stacked. With raises that big just play super tight and 3 bet if they'll call pf or trap on the flop of they won't.

Thank you everyone for your response. I've considered a few of them already but thank you anyways because it just reassured me that that was an actual possibility that needed to be taken into account.

I think jugastes bad as you say yourself the table is a loose does not mean you have to play well but you have to control the boats and know when to be aggressive and when to control
