Hello again good people!

I just discovered that I could use my HUD to mark hands for later review. I figured posting a small video of their playback was as good a way as any to get them up on here.

If someone could cast their eyes over them that would be great. I think I may have been encountering the WAWB concept when IP after the flop. Does it also count if you have not hit and its a very dry board?

Also I may have a few questionable calls in there plus folding AK IP to a 3bet... not sure how to handle this situation so I may have played it safe with raise or fold!

Was I right to check raise my middle pair against multiple callers when in poor position on the second hand?

Anyway over to you guys!

Thanks in advance as usual!

Frank.

Could you downlooad it and use the pause button?
Sorry I know that sounds presumptuous but if its any slower the file size will be too large... just a thought! :p

Agreed about the speed - I slowed it down and it was still a little hard to keep up with. One thing that sticks out is the AQo hand that you checkraised the flop. There's 2 suited cards on the flop, and you only reraised 1x his bet size, so if my math is right you're still giving him good pot odds to draw to a flush.

Just post the hhs one at a time in the HA section. I watched the video but it's just too fast to follow. There is a reason why posting HHs is standard.

Ya, posting them in HA would be better for sure.

I did catch a couple thing tho.

EP raise with J9s might be a little too loose.

3 betting UTG raises with 9s. Unless you have a read on this guy that he has a wide range UTG and will call 3 bets with worse hands OOP then I probs just flat to set mine.

I will run these hands through a converter to offer them in a more usable format.

Yes the 3bet with the pocket 9s was dubious but as for the J9s, I don't think EP MP and LP, more in terms of places from the button. The table became shorthanded and I was at B-3 so don.t feel this was too loose...

Ok, ile get onto those hand histories now!

hand 1: you have like 2 limpers before you and you decide to make it 4x, you should definitely make it more if you really want to raise, lets say 14c, i played 2nl and people just don't give a damn about 4c more, so just make a bigger raise. tho you should only call with 77 after 2 limpers. flop misses you so we check it down, not bad, on turn we make a set, here is where we need to make a move because the 2 guys before us checked, there is already the posibility of a straight on board and a flush draw, you need to put preasure so make them lay down a draw, so bet pot or close to pot, make them pay if they want to draw. river comes giving 4 cards to a straight and you decide to bet close to half the pot, the guy from the D button min raises you. just a quick note in mind, that's always the fish way of saying i have the nuts, along with check, you bet, think all in move, yet again another i have the nuts tell from the fish. they would never min raise with anything other than the nuts :D

hand 2: we have AQ in the BB, 3 limpers before us, you raise to 8c, again, raise more, at microstakes you should make it at least 4x without any limpers ahead of you, plus 1BB for every limper, so the raise should be at least 12c here, more is good too, like 14-16, make them fold those stupid hands they are playing. we hit second pair, you are the first to act and you check, a guy from late position bets and you min raise in a 4 way pot. you should be folding second pair here, or if you really don't believe him than call, see what he does on turn, as we see he checks on turn and calls a bet on river, but what if just made another big bet on the turn? what would you do than with second pair? that check min raise there is just awful, you should have just called and check it down if possible, or just fold to that bet.

hand 3: seems like you make the same bet no matter how many limpers ahead of you, once again, to make sure you remember, make it at least 4xBB aka 8c raise preflop if there are no limpers, add 1 big blind per limper, when i played nl i used to make it 12c with no limpers, the reason, people just don't give a damn about 8c, especially when they already limped for 2c, they will call another 6c, you might as well check because nobody will fold to such a poor bet. we hit top pair top kicker, a guy donk bets and you reraise, the goes all in, i can not really decide what to do, you could have show HUD but you didn't so i have no idea how he is playing, next time tell us his preflop raise and voluntary put money in the pot.

hand 4: J9 suited in early position, fold that, never raise, if you want to play it at least do it in a late position not in UTG+1, anyway we get 1 caller, you hit top pair, and you check behind, at least make a continuation bet, in the turn a scare card comes, enemy bets 1/3 of the pot and you instantly fold second pair. my question is to you, when you raised prelop with j9 what flop did you expect to hit? a straight? a flush? because top pair does not seem good enough to you. better yet you have to ask yourself these questions before you make the raise, don't just raise because you feel like it.

hand 5: 99, you raise 70c or 14x, your raise should have been 20c, at this point i am starting to believe that you are either fking with us, or you just didn't read anything on this forum, or anything at all that counts as poker strategy. flop comes and your opponent bets really small, you decide to play it loose passive and call. calling will never tell us where we are.

hand 6: we have JJ, we have a raiser and a caller, and you decide to reraise, i would just call here to see a flop. flop comes KK7 and you bet big, at this point you are pot committed, JJ is a dangerous hand, better at 2nl just try to hit a set with it, or check it down with over on the board, you can get aggressive with it at higher limit, but at 2nl where we have 3-4 people to every pot, JJ is most likely not good in most situations. I used to play it a lot safer, somehow like i would play TT, i would not reraise with it, and i would only bet on a safe flop.

hand 7: AK finaly a 4x raise. we get a caller and a guy reraises to 50c. the fold was bad, you only needed 30c more to a 90c already pot, and odds are the other guy would call too.

hand 8: there is no hand 8.

my thoughts, drop back to 2nl, you seem to have issues there, so you should not be playing 5nl until you master 2nl. you style is loose passive after the flop which is extremely bad. you seem to need to continuation bet a lot more. you also need to make you raises a lot bigger at 2nl.

good luck!
