I have played two of these now and both time I lost them in heads up.
(Only 1st gets a $11 ticket to the 200 grand. $T!)

Both times I was a dominating chipleader when it was down to 3.
Both times I had around 9k. And still I can't seem to win them .

When it gets to HU we were both times even in chips. The first time because I screwed up and the second because he took out the 3rd guy.

So it's 7k - 7k and I can't win ! Today I had KJ on a QATQ9 board.
I bet every street and we end up all in on the river. Ofcourse he turns over Q9 and I'm stumped as to why I keep losing these things in HU !

Any tips about how to play them ? Tips in general and especially the HU part are appreciated.

You've played 2, and you haven't won any? LMAO, you must be the worst player ever!

You are going to need a chunk of luck to win one of these - if you play tight early, you'll be in the last 3 or 4 with a fraction of the 1st places player's chips. If you play loose early, you'll probably be gettign your chips in with the worst of it.

You just need to be realistic - you won't win more that 1 out of 6 of these - yes the standard of play is bad, but bad players run hot and catch cards. I'd just open up 4 of them at the same time, and hope for a bit of luck.

And heads up, you need to get all the chips in with KJ on a QATQ9 board, end of. Strange though, i've lost the last 3 times i've flopped a straight/flush at pokerstars (and i didn't slow play).

Yes I know, it's the smallest sample in the world.
But I did get HU in both and still lost. That's what lead me to believe something is wrong with my play.

In general I'm not very strong in HU. Back when I played sng's on a regular-ish basis I guess I won it 50/50 when getting HU. I don't know how to react to some type of styles. Like people who reraise almost every time I raise from the button. After a while I get frustrated and will shove and get called by a monster :(. I have the same problem in 3 handed play.

Dont get too involved early on as 3 or 4 will push with anything just to get an advantage.

Play your strong hands well and be aggressive heads up.

i have found the best way to use your FPPs ...is the sunday 2 grand found in the VIP tab...its a 2k NLHE freeroll...usually about 2000 entrants which means it pays 450...usually good play after the first 2 levels...its a freeroll so naturally there are a few reckless players to begin with....but after that its a fairly easy cash with the potential high payoff once the play is ITM
