Antes are 25 the bring in is 50 and the SB/BB is 150/300

I have 805 chips. Put aside the poor play I made with call on 4th street.

Was there any point I could have exited the hand considering my chip stack or was I just basically in until the end the moment I made that first raise.

Instead of raising here you should have just called. This will give you a chance to fold. With that many callers the raise here is not going to get many to fold and you are telegraphing your hand. Another reason to just call is that two of the cards you need for the straight are already gone. The last reason to call here is a pair of tens rarely will hold up especially with 3 more callers.

If you were committed on fourth street I would have recommended a reraise instead of a call to get the other two out of the hand. But with the raise I would have folded and left the hand go. Wait for a better spot.

Just my thoughts.

I see the point. Question is was I already commited to the end from well the beginning. Again. I had 805 chips left with antes at 25 and a bring in of 50.

I had 805 - 25 leaving 780. I bet 3rd street (had the best hand at the time) with my 1010 leving me 630 chips. On 4th street Pokerkitty led out when she/he got a K.

Knowing that there was a good chance that Pokerkitty hit a pair of Kings but with only 630 chips left, can I fold and expect to see a better hand with the antes grabbing 25 chips a hand from me. Also, with the exectation of at least one 50 chip bring in with in a few hands or so.

Its pretty standard to just call in this spot. Or fold. Two tens doesn't do very well against a big field. Raising was easily your worst option.

You must raise 4th. Getting heads up is super important, and you've been given the opportunity to do so by facing the field with 2 bets cold. Its also harder for him to have hit the king since you now hold one.

at 150/300 you're all in the next hand you play, but antes are still only 25 and you could have waited for a stronger hand to go all in. A middle pair with a middle kicker is a poor choice. I think you could have seen 8 to 10 more hands before playing.

How is position important? It can change every street as high hand starts the betting and moves clockwise.

Roger, your basic strategy is correct. I agree with you, but...... and its a big BUT.

It takes 7 cards.
