I play mainly 6max (but tonight I choose to dabble at a full table)...

Now I noticed alot of differences between the 2 (as many of you may also have)...

6max

-Faster pace of game speed
-More aggressive players
-More 3betting light (that actually work/or do not work, but it happens)
-Players in general give up the pots quicker in 3bet pots in 6max
-Cbets seem to get more credibility
-Steals/double barrels seem to work out (as your only up against 1 player usually)
-While you'll still have your more passive/calling station players at the games (It's alot easier to Cbet into 1 player rather than 3 players)

Full tables

-More callers preflop (so you really need to tighten up your game)
-Less raises preflop, and more limp/calling raises preflop in general
-Over all more passive atmosphere (this was just what I noticed in the games)
-When they raise (and by "they", I mean the passive player at a full table, it really means I got you beat (I found that out the hard way, acouple of times:eek: )
-Less bluffing actually (or so I think)
-Less Cbetting (as they're more limp callers preflop, so you ain't about to CBET into 6 other players now are you)?
-You can fold more and wait for a premo hand compared to 6max where blinds come around quicker
-Slower pace of game speed

These are the things I noticed tonight, (and it's been like 3 years I'd say since I played full table rings). So my question is, If I'm more prone to raising preflop, BTN, C.O, H.J, and these don't work as I found out when playing a full table game (really fast:eek: ), because your going to be getting more callers pre, so what do I need to do...Are there any videos on here the talk about the differences between the 2 and how to adjust?

Is it ok to just limp more preflop when in 8/9 tabled players? Not ATC but more or less just over all limp and follow suit?

Any tip most welcome

Try to be more patient in the full table sit and gos. Then play really aggresive when there is about five people left.
