Hi all

I have had some success in tourney's in the past and had to withdraw almost all my money as my business had a bad period. I battled after that with a $500 bankroll and ran bad and lost most of it in 2014. After that i battled with my mentality of running bad, tilt and not taking bad beats not very good, had a bad attitude and played bad because of that. It got so bad that i lost all interest in poker and only played a few hands.

Since then, I have done allot of work on my mentality and got to a place were i want to play poker again, got the bad run/bad beat mentality under the belt now. Bad beats don't hurt that much and don't get distracted from them. I also feel that i am playing poker at the best i can play at the moment.

Could someone give some advice how to play on 2nl fullring cash games with only a $60 bankroll on pokerstars? I play 6 tables with $1 buy in and see were i come from there?(Thats the plan). Any other suggestions plz help me

I have been learning playing 2nl and at the start was loosing bad but i found my leaks and i have playing allot the last 2 weeks and have a profit almost every session but it's leveling out now. and most of that money i won, i lost back playing sng so i think i should just play cask for now as i got 60, $1 buy ins @2nl.

Any tips how to play theses stakes and what kind of read to look for, how tight do you have to play, like whats the best hm2 stats?

How would you go about a $60(all i have left)bankroll beating this stakes?

Also, table selection tips to will be appreciate it as i battle with it

Thank you

I started at Full Flush with a $50 deposit. I played 2 tables at 2nl most of the time. I played $.60 and $.75 buyin MTTs. And I played freerolls. I cashed out twice after I got to 5nl. From there, I went to 10nl, and that is where I'm at now. All that started 3 years ago. Learning how to play the game is not a fast one. But to start with, you need to deal with tilt, and ask a lot of questions about BRM. Just don't try to take it all in at once. GL to you

Why are you playing shortstacked? Why not buy in for the table max and auto-top up every time you dip below it?
That way you maximize the amount you can win everytime you have the nuts...

Any tips how to play theses stakes and what kind of read to look for, how tight do you have to play, like whats the best hm2 stats?
Depends on your style, really. As long as you use position to your advantage (loosen up a lot in the CO and OTB) and don't overdo your blind defense, you should be ok.
As for actual "ideal" ranges for full ring, you'll have to get that from someone else. I'm a 6-max player, so my games have a higher VPIP.

How would you go about a $60(all i have left)bankroll beating this stakes?
If you're confident you can beat these stakes, then 30 max buy-ins should be enough. Especially if you also get some bonuses/rakeback to pad the roll.

Can you colour-label your opponents (like you can on Stars), and have that visible when going over the available tables?

Table selection means sitting only at tables with at least one fish present.
Seat selection, however, is equally important. If there are fish and nits at the table at the same time, you should look for the seat where you have the fish to your right, and the nits to your left.
That way you can iso-raise the fish, and steal the nits' blinds.

If you can't see any colour-labels, then be on the lookout for tables with shortstacked players. Shortstackers are often fish. You'll want to sit on their left.

There is special strategy called Mid stack strategy(I love this strategy xD) Recently, Lot's of 2NL shortstackers uses MSS. Therefore, distinction of MSS regs and fish is important. but how?.. I really wonder about this.

Then look for shortstackers with a weird amount of chips at the table.

The MSS regs will auto-top up back to 0.80$ or 1.00$ each hand at NL2. The fish will be sitting there with 1.27$ or 0.67$ or something.

Hey

thanks for your reply

I want to play more loose aggressive and win and have a big profit but my natural game is tight passive/aggressive. I am trying to be more aggressive but for me it's very difficult. Some spots i feel like i cant bet cause i am only going to be called by worse and my style is to trap.

Any tips how to be more aggressive post flop?

I buy in for $ 1 to have 60 buy in's cause if i go broke i can't reload so going broke thats it. Want to be 100% sure i don't if i play bad.

2Nl is not that tough but i battle with motivation playing this limit. My goal is to learn how to play cash games and learn to multi-table and then move up.

Any advice on that?

Thank you
