I just recently started playing poker again starting from 2NL and faced some weird plays on SNAP poker that left me confused.

villain will min bet/donk bet flop, min bet turn, and shove river.

I tried reraising the flop min bet, but there are quite a number of them that will call the raise and lead out the turn with a min bet again.

I've tried reraising the turn min bet if I have at least TPGK only to get called and big overbet shove on the river. I've tried calling off the shove with 2pair or better and sometimes even with TPTK if i had tagged the player for doing weird plays with weak hands before. The results have been varyingly different. Sometimes they have sets, 2pair, TPWK and even air. Since SNAP poker doesn't allow poker tracker to be used, it's hard to determine which players are doing what for what reason as the 2NL field is pretty huge.

How will you approach this kind of player?

As a general rule, without notes on a player to say what sort of hands they do this with, I treat a min donk bet as a check on the flop. If I was going to bet I raise. If I was going to check I just call.

That was what I had in mind too but what do you do about the overbet shove on the river? That is what confuses me the most.

I've seen this or pot size river bets after lead, lead with top pair hands quite often because they use their min bet for info and when you don't raise it, they think their top pair is good. It really confuses me when they do it on wet boards and show up with top pair, like your gonna let draws draw for the min and then pot the river when the draws miss??? Kind of strange but very fishy and fish do strange things sometimes.
