See rileyl's post in Golden Archives on Transitioning Microstakes, and google Ryan Fees for his free ebook. fwiw, most of the discussion in HA and golden archives is relevant to 6max.

no i dont usually keep books, i just try to learn in the play money, when you get to the higher levels people start to play serious thier so i try to learn with free money high stakes, kinda get a feeling wat its like to have 300,000 in the pot and use pot odds and stuff like that thier

that wont help you. play money is nothing like playing in real high stakes, let alone any real money

pokerkid, I removed the attachment - the links may be broken for reasons that the author has...

Most strategy boooks don't differentiate FR vs. 6max strategy, though there may be a section called "shorthanded play" or something like that. If you think of 6max as FR, except the first three seats always fold, you're not that far off.

That said, I'd suggest Ed Miller's more recent books, esp. Professional No Limit Holdem and Small Stakes No Limit Holdem.
