On line you have the option of sitting at one or the other. I must confess that I prefer a 6 seat table. OK the blinds come around a little faster but you can play more hands per hour. You'd think the size of the pot would be smaller, but it doesn't always work out that way, plus there are more pots to play for.

I play on 9 Seat table and 3 Seat table. 9 Seat in a tournament with 45 Players, this take about 2 Hours. 3 seat with 3 Players, it Takes 15 Minutes. This is a Spin & go tournament with different payouts.

6max people's ranges are a lot wider than 9 max so a lot more pots are played multiway imo, which builds the pot. I prefer 9 max for mtt's. betonline runs there mtt's 10max which is a little different as well.

Like the wider range of a six man table for both cash and SnG. The SnG run a little faster. The shove or folds start little earlier is the down side.

I prefer 9 handed. I'm still studying the basics of Poker and it seems much easier to play a "standard" ring then short handed right now.

Hello to me I almost do not like the table with 6 players I prefer 9 because I play 6 mea, I speak for my experience I have gone wrong and I do not leave almost good hands almost all are low-level, while at the tables Of 9 I have had up to 4 hands in a row and I have been in good positions in middle class tournaments.

I am a sucker for the 9 seat table. I am seldom aggressive unless I have a premium starting hand. So 9 table fits my style of play more than a 6 max table.

I prefer 9 because,
I am more used to ranges for that size,
There are more hands to choose from before the blinds come round,
I feel 6 is more like a turbo and I wouldn't choose the turbo.

It Depends

I personally like 6 because it moves faster.

I,m not sure that such thing is very important. You can choose what you wish. I usually play 6 max(if i have enough money). If your bankroll is low, better to play the table for 9 players, so the blinds will not kill you so fast and it will be always a chance to meet some donkeys on the 9max table and increase your bankroll.

6 seat all the way, more hands played, more entertaining game and also faster overall due to the blind stealing and way more shoving.

6 or 9

On the whole I prefer 9 player tables. Blinds come around less often which matters more as you progress. hands might come better with six but frankly I still get the same crap regardless. Playing live tourneys or cash games my favourite table is 8 players. Seems a great distribution of cards and just the right number for comfort as well.

Can't say anything about cash tables, as i am playing tournaments 99,9% of the time. But at tournaments, i think it depends on which style fits better to your personality. If you are rather tight and playing less hands, but stronger ones, then 9MAX is better for you. And if you are more loosy-goosey and like to play a lot of hands, then 6MAX will be better choice.

I do not see the difference between these tables for the game, to enhance the convenience of both types of tables, to be more aggressive and yes, the power will come with you :)

No difference . If only there was luck !
