Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has a rough idea how much Rakeback I would receive per month playing 60K hands at 25% RB.

Should also mention that rake is taken by I-Pokers old weighted contributed method not the new source based rake.

Most of I-Poker's Euro sites have moved to the new method (source based rake) which is in favor of the recreational depositing player but I know that Bet365 is still using the old weighted contributed method so thinking of moving my bankroll there.

According to PT4 every 1k hands I contribute roughly £20 in rake at 20NL. But whatever is taken from the pots I win is then divided between the players in that pot so a little unsure how to work this out.

Also you have to take in to consideration the merit points I will receive for contributing to other pots that I did not win.

I figured at a guess if I was getting £20 assigned to me every 1k hands at 20NL if I were to multiply that by 2.5 making £50 then get 25% of that it is £12.50.

So if I was to play 2k hands per day that would be around £25 per day on top of my winnings.

Playing roughly 360 hands per hour that is 5.5 hours per day. So if you divide that £25 by 5.5 you get around £4.55 an hour rakeback.

Does that sound about right or are my calculations way off ???

Your RB is defined only on rake you pay personally and RB%. Multiply the 2 and that is that.

I thought using the old weighted contributed method that regardless of who won the pot the rake taken was split between the players in the pot according to how much they contributed, no ?

Are you saying that if I was to find out how much rake I attribute daily divide that by 100 then multiply it by 25 then that will be how much rakeback I will get ?

Cheers for your reply anyway mate :)

Regardless of method of taking rake, your PT4 takes note of quantity of rake taken from you. That is the only number that matters for your rakeback.

Best is to just look at your database and find what is the average rake you pay per X hands (the bigger the better as far as sample goes).

If things are similar to pre black Friday rakeback at 50nl should add 1-2$ per hour to your win rate depending on volume. I was at about +2$ per hour playing ~900 - 1000 hands per hour

On average you will rake one full buy in per every 1,000 hands played, so for a NL20 and 60k hands at 25% RB we´re talking about...

$20 x 60 x 0.25 = $300 in rakeback aprox

And may i say 25% is very low these days for a NL20 regular playing 60k hands a month.

Is way more, i think the network has a 100% 1st Depositors Bonus that clears at 10% + the weekly rakerace called The Beast, for a NL25 grinder playing 45k-50k hands a month that could round up to about 50%-60% rakeback total.
