The top five players out of ten double up. Less entry fees it's $4.60 profit on a $5 investment. See, I'm thinking it should be good. I mean, you just have to be half-good to win right?
I just observed one and it played mad-tight until the bubble, then someone called, lost, and mucked. I really wish I knew what she mucked, winner had A-high flush, was holding A of diamonds, so I'm guessing the loser of that hand and yes loser of $5 had a lower flush. After that everyone just started going all-in really fast until there was a lucky winner. Lucky since it was just hurry up and get it over with.
I wonder, is there even a strategy when it's just sit tight until 5 fools bust themselves out? To be fair, one might not have been a fool, just unlucky, but the others were doing the pre-flop all-in thing as though there was some bigger prize at the top. There wasn't. So a couple did that and the other two were complete calling stations, and their chips were quickly and easily drained.
Realistically, you could play nothing but KK through JJ without pre-flop pushing and still come out smelling like a rose, or at least $4.60 cents richer and eventually you could use your winnings to buy some Tea Rose Eau De Parfum which would leave you smelling like the aforementioned rose.
Heck one guy just played two orbits, didn't win much in either and sat out. I dunno, just looks like easy money to me.
