Just a question I wanted to know about in a cash game. All players would be tight aggressive that play their cards.

If someone from Early Position raises and a person from Middle Position three bets then the Small Blind four bets and you're holding QQ in the big blind, what should you do? Is this a fold?

You didn't mention if its 9-max or 6-max

If you're assuming that everyone is tight aggressive with no real stats on opponents, to me I'm puke folding this spot in a full ring game unless I have some information that SB is capable of a light 4bet squeeze play.

EDIT: Just ran some numbers, if we give SB a range of JJ+,AKs,AKo then

Player 1 :QQ
equity Win Tie
47.4% 45.8% 3.14%

Player 2:JJ+,AKs,AKo
Equity Win Tie
52.6% 51.0% 3.14%

(Monte Carlo Simulation 18000000 hands)

Just from observations, feel like giving SB JJ in live $1/2 on a 4b is super generous.

In my opinion I tend to puke fold in this scenario which somehow feels like a poker leak in micro stakes.

Fold.

Even at low stakes people usually don't 4-bet light. The lightest is generally AK unless the player is trigger happy and will get it all in with 77 or something. There are definitely players like that at micros but most people know better. AK still has 50% equity against QQ (more or less). So of the three most likely hands, KK, AA, and AKs, the only one you are ahead of is AK, and only by 2%.

Fold. And then thank yourself for having the discipline to fold the ladies, which a lot of players out there simply cannot do ;)

Easy FOLD.
From those 3 opponents, one is holding either KK or AA.
Another problem is if A or K hits the community cards, youre toast.

Easy fold I think. Yea, none of them might have AA or KK, but not often, even at micros. Wait for a better spot.

You ran the numbers against players who call...

But just because we are playing against tight players doesn't mean they are good.. We have a ton of fold equity which your missing out on.

Im shoving in we have the 3rd best hand in no limit holdem yes the chances are high we run into higher AA's or KK's but the fact is it's much easier to have unpaired hands than paired... And we have lower pockets like 10s and JJ's who still may join the ride.

Sorry but folding is wrong, shoving is right I believe. Going against everyone else but I ain't everyone else, I'm the guy winning money at the end and ppl shaking their heads how I did it.

Also you forgot to mention what are the chipstacks???? Perhaps play 1 or 2 beat us... But what if player 3 who is also tight but opens his range a bit wider has 500bb ??? :) side pots keep in mind as well, we may lose to the other 2 and still collect handsomely against the big stack. Not everything is straight forward like these players are acting... And I love them for being simple.

I don't know, I'm fairly new to this, but it seems like people playing their QQ like it's AA or KK is responsible for a lot of big busts. It's one thing if there are maniacs at the table raising everything, but if they're tight, and it's not some weird situation where everyone's min-raising, I'd give them the credit for AA or KK and lay down the cards.

Pretty bad spot for QQ but i think a fold is the right decision, especially given they're tight players. Pick better spots to put all your chips in.
