Alright when I first started playing poker I never use to 3bet or 4bet with Prems and noticed how much I was just calling and people were blowing away their money.

Lately when I played 10nl and casino I tell everyone I have a big hand when I 3bet or 4bet sure I'm protecting my hand but I'm not getting the value anymore... Hmmm Is it still profitable to just flat 2bets IP with AA or KK

Personally and from what I've been told, and from my experiences, yes, it is better to 3 - 4 bet.

Too many times I've been holding As or Ks and been beaten on the flop by a player with a baby pair that had a match on the flop, or someone with medium suited connectors that flops 2 pair or straight or flush draws. My opinion, if they want to go ahead and chase it, they're paying for it. The villain might be bluffing, semi-bluffing with suited connectors or have some pocket pair. I don't believe in letting him see the flop for cheap.

That being said, I've also had Fishy Donks call my 3 or 4 bet with nearly anything and still lose, so there's no one easy answer.

I dont really have an answer for you as this is one thing I too have found annoying since moving up from 5NL. People will fold pretty much anything to a 3-bet, even a lot of the fish. Ive tried making it 2.5x and even 2x the initial 3xBB raise but still people are reluctant to call me. I guess we can try 3-betting light to get a madman image but I wouldn't have thought this to be necessary at 10NL.

4-bets are 100% either KK or AA from my experience, so if im getting 4-bet with Kings im laying them down if im Vs a seemingly sound player. 4-bet shoving with Aces can work, im called by AKs and QQ sometimes.
My Aces are folded to an unbelievable amount of times when I 4-bet, and its very frustrating.

I look forward to reading the replys you get.

When someone 4bets you, you only continue with AA. So getting frustrated when you 4bet and the opponents fold a lot seems like a double standard.

It is, so are we saying to only 4-bet fish but shove against better/tighter players? The tighter player has more trouble putting us on AA if we shove him, whereas the fish are probably scared off by a shove and may make terrible calls to our 4-bet, consequently generating more value for us?

3bet, 4bet with aces can make all players fold if they are not feeling confortable with their hands. Starting with 2, 2.5 BB can solve this problem but can make many players call too. So there is not best way to make a bet and every way can be a suxessful one. There is not a badly played hand, there is a bad luck.

I am always surprised by the number of people that call at the casino when I 3bet. And they call with worse hands - I have 3bet preflop shoved the flop with AA on a dry board and gotten called by QQ.

If people are folding all the time to your 4bets figure out how often the 3bet and then figure out if you can 4bet bluff profitably. It looks like it could be a leak in their game that could be exploited. do it with hands that aren't dominated though.

Never speak about your hand while in a hand.

I sometimes tell people what my hand actually is during the hand. They never seem to know what to do with that information.

If it was a tournament i would recommend a 3 bet with such hands about 90 percent of the time. But since this is a cash game you do not necessarily need to 3bet every time. But watch your spots carefully. If there are are multiple players already in the hand then 3 bet is highly recommended. Slow play can be rewarding but it is also important to let go of such hands if you sense opponent has you beat. After all AA is just another pair.

I've called 2bets ready to slowplay and trap someone and then see the flop 8 7 10 and I just sigh because I know I can't get carried away with the hand now.
