So i have been playin 1/3 live at a home game once a week. How much sould i have to even be playing here. I got about a 8.3k bank roll.

What is the max buy-in? Does the game play short a lot? How much money gets on the table when it is full and busy?

$8.3K should be more than enough for a typical home game.

some buy in for 500 but the minimum is 100. usually the total in play is about 1.2k

I think for live 6k is a good enough BR to play 1/3. Buy in for 300 unless the table is deep or a weak player is deep etc. I go by 20 buy ins for live and reevaluate my play if I lose around 6 buy ins.
