Ok so I'm struggling with 3 betting OOP then cbetting, overall i'm losing money 3 betting OOP then cbetting, so how do I change this? I typically raise 3x IP and 4 x OOP, it seems whenever I cbet theyve got it. Against loose players they might be playing back at me and tight players probably have it...

Maybe it's my 3bet range but thats aj+/10s+(Depending on raiser) should i really be folding hands like aj or 10s? Do i need to crank up my 3 bets more? maybe my cbets need to be more?

This is typically for players i have no stats on, obviously if their fold to 3bet stat is low i either fold or raise more, higher cbet folds i cbet more, but im talking relatively unknown players,

let me know what you guys think, thanks.

I think it is a good idea to focus on how wide their opening range is. I believe this is one of the most important factors for deciding to 3-bet. Don't just 3-bet, because everyone else is doing it. Versus many nits it is best just to 3-bet KK+ and AK. Even sometimes flatting AK might be better. Versus much looser opens you should be 3-betting 99+, AJs+, AQo. If they have the ability to fold to future aggression you can add some suited hands that can't call as bluffs. Don't get carried away with this. In your post you said people aren't folding. So stop bluffing them. That means don't add J6s or 62s as bluffing hands.

Also, use position to determine their range. When you are dealing with readless opponents I 3-bet a fairly narrow range since most opponents will call it.

When 3-betting from out of position I don't think it is horrible to only do so with value hands.

If your getting different reactions from people I don't think changing your bet sizing is the right approach. I think focusing on changing the type of hands you 3-bet.

When out of position I like a 3x 3-bet rather than a 4x 3-bet. 4x allows them to fold more hands without feeling too bad about it.

Really good advice that.

Do you know why you are C-betting? Do you know the best boards for C-betting? If not then you need to read into this.

Make good notes as well, dont just rely on HUDs when it comes to 3 betting/c betting, its a time in poker you really need to be using your brain. Make notes of who will float your C-bet and who will not, who will bluff raise and who will not, who will raise their draws and who will not etc etc. The better notes you have the more informed a decision you can make as to if to 3 bet and if you should fire the turn.

There are a lot of decent articles about c-betting to expand on this, make the search engines your friend.

When a nit open raise you should consider folding marginal hands like AJo or even AQo because his range is usually stronger than you. It's more alarming when they call your 3bet so don't c-bet if you have nothing on the flop. Be careful or you can be trapped for a lot of money. I would rather attact nits' blinds than counter their open with 3-bet OOP.

when out of position (OOP), if you're ~ shallow, try to craft your 3-bet sizing so that you can jam a reasonable bet-size on most flops when called.

when you're too deep to do that you're going to need to winnow your OOP 3-bet range a bit.

When OOP I only c-bet as a semi bluff and not with complete air.

You should focus on your starting ranges, it can be a good factor in 3 bets. Yes, 3 opp is somewhat hard then another.
