Limit is a great game some say it's unbeatable, but I have proven to myself otherwise and would like to share to you the secret. This game is an absolute science I think that's what drew my to the game in the first place I have studied it for about 6 years and have some eye opening data and strategy. To play Limit successfully you kinda need to be like Rain man that's a tough mission and is probably why most players seek NL as it's an art and simple match up scenarios. In low limit it appears to be a bingo fest and with the rake seems like a goofy game, but it's not when your good. This method applies directly to 3/6 and 4/8 limit after that it becomes more like nl and this won't work.

Low limit holdem is a differential game of about 8- 12 cards, your cards and deducting the range of everyone even the folders! To top that off you need to speculate odds from deep scenarios that are nearly impossible without a sharp mind. Here is what goes through my head post flop I have a-j off suit with 5 players in a limped pot making it 18$ flop goes J-7-J I flopped trips, however the board has 2 hearts I have no hearts and with the 12 remaining cards my opponents have some weird outs! I assume the middle usually based on my studied data so true odd's of a flush draw about 5 for any potential flush guy. The 89 has the 10 out and the k-10 with no reason to call, but will may also river a 9 for a straight when the turn came a nearly benign 8. This weird stuff does occur and with proper strong betting against decent players they usually fold, however most players are wild,or just gamblers who don't care and always call, good and mostly bad. The key here is to know the data and speculate what has been folded, what they probably have and then go deeper into previous flop data which is crucial to winning and advanced speculation.

This goes like this for the data. Your hand A-10 off vs 4 players and the rest are medium tight so they probably folded bad hands,or marginal hands like k7 off suit. You flop an ace of A-9-7 two spades..

Previous flop runs x 3= A-Q-8-5-A- 45-j-6-7 and 88-2-k-9 runner spades. You can see 2 paired boards at AA-88 a straight board of the 4-5-j-6-7 and a runner flush board as well. This can influence your current hand i'll explain. To be good you need to let the stars line up correctly! In poker the odds of having a winning run out hand vs 9 players is 2 in 21.8 give or take all occurring mostly at random. The game has a mathematical rhythm to it though and mostly happens at say hand 7 and hand 21 it's mostly like this as your winning hand or ''hit frequency'' So if you have a-10 of suit and it's been 9 hands since youv'e seen a would have or actual best hand then it's great to proceed! You know the previous 3 flops were paired and a runner flush occurred so then is actually less likely the spades will fall on A-9-7 spade board. You also had a straight board previously at 4-5-J-6-7 so this is a less likely occurrence to run out on your board. Flop run outs in my Data analysis dictate that Pairs like 4-8-A-10-4 often repeat a lot even up to 9x so it's never out of the question on your board.

Ok back to the task at hand you have Ace 10 the flop comes A-9-7 with 2 spades you know the previous data to memory and can finally speculate your opponents range as k-10-9-10-10-j of course just a guess. It's just a range though as you can give or take you as being good here and the potentiality of bad cards happening for you as slim and can be 50/50 of one pair being good and maybe the board gives you a final A-9-7-Q-A. You can be fairly certain it wont be a true straight run out,nor will the flush probably hit. More than likely it's The trip aces on the river or something like A-9-7-K-K or A-9-7-2-7 all blank no flush your probably good. If your beat it's to a set or a better ace which wont happen as much as you think. Since the KK happened on the river you can be less scared by it by someone who bets out, sure they got it or they don't it's just less likely because you pictured their range as draws and not k-9 -A9 and more than likely draws. See I picked A-10 cause it's a tough hand to play you never know if your good it's not a super A+ hand, but with the right data you can play it with more power.

This process just repeats guys analyze past flops for speculation, define the folders range and then define your opponents range with enough practice you can be a little more powerful knowing yes you have 5-6 offsuit, and yes your opponents are good therefore they are playing better hands so this is a good thing here! 5-6 off vs AA -Q-J suited ax suited and 10-10. You know the differential you can flop 34-9 big draw great flop for the aces and 10-10 and a perfectly fair flop for you. 5-6-9 again huge flop for your hand and if you speculate the board is 70/30 to pair and certainly wont flush then 5-6 2 pair is good and will remain good to strong bets from good players who feel their overs are gold.

Gl all this has taken me 6+ years to understand this concept and if you read this you will probably say wtf hehh.. give it a try be powerful,be random and knowledgeable.

hate to say it. But I do not think 3/6 limit is a profitable game. That is my take on it.
