Hi.
I've been played 2NL since 2 months ago. xD and I still finding strategy for 2NL MSS (mid stack strategy) Today, I found some interesting strategy which includes 3bet-4bet bluff more and adjust initial raise size to 2bb.
however, I really doubt 2bb raising in micro stakes is effective because, So many players just call 2bb raise....

TL:DR What is your thought about 2BB raise on 2NL cash game?

Your going to get a variety of opinions on this, in the context of things, I think it is very minor detail. Even higher stakes people still raise 3x, and a myriad of other different amounts. Of of the main reasons to bet less than 3x is that your facing a lot of 3 bets. The most common spot i see smaller raises is cuttoff and button opens.

Early position: raise to 3-4x
Mid position and SB: raise to 2.5-3x
Button: raise to 2-2.5x

You need to make sure you're making big raises in early positions and small raises ("steals") in late position.

I tried min-raises/2.5x preflop raises and never liked them. Personally, I like 3x from every position. When you start 2xing and 2.5xing, people call with a much much wider range. You get a lot of less preflop fold equity. And I found that people level themselves into 3-betting you more when you open for 2x/2.5x, especially OTB.

I think 2-2.5x should be reserved for nitty tables or at much higher stakes where people are more likely to 3-bet or fold pre, and don't flat a 2-2.5x in the BB/SB often with garbage simply because they are getting a discount.

I open 3bb from every position buy from btn where i open 2bb. i also play mss and i have some interesting material about the strategy that can help you get deeper in the system. you can also check out my thread in my sig, it is filled with hands i played while i was playing at full tilt and there you can see a lot of explanation about where i went wrong from a member who helped me most to overcome 2nl and 5nl playing mss, check it out...

about 3bet/4bet strategy i also developed a 4bet system which uses dead money + fold equity and hand equity against different 3bet percentage and against different stackoff ranges... i can share that to you also if you are interested...

I agree with MinhANguyen.

I just go with the "standard" of 3x from every position + 1x for every limper + 1x when out-of-position.

That sounds interesting.
