I have played around 24k hands with very big swings but the latest has got be rather depressed. I was sitting on +$15 but in the last 1000 hands I have lost 7 buy ins so im now -$55. :(.

It all started to go wrong with an all in PF with AA vs a guy with AA and another with KK - needless to say the guy hit a set of kings.

I lost another 2 buy ins with AA one vs a set and another vs a guy who drew to a flush.

Its hard to lay down AA vs micro donks that stack off with top pair no kicker. Maybe I should have got away from these hand? but If you start doing that vs 50/20 donks you will be often folding to someone with top pair.

And in this same 1000 hands I never got paid off with any sets or flushes (not that I hit many at all)...

horrible horrible run...its depressing when u watch ur graph increase gradually then drop like a rock to an all time low.

From what you've described, it seems like typical poker variance (to me, at least).

Try posting some screenshots of your graph & stats here to get some slightly more detailed opinions from some folks.

Any feedback would be great...I feel I have been unlucky but clearly I have alot to learn also.

imo your stats don't look bad. You're playing pretty nitty, but that shouldn't preclude someone from winning, it just may limit your win rate somewhat.

What hands are you calling 3 bets with? And your own 3bet and 4bet are almost the same; are you using the same range of hands for both?

If you're interested you could PM me 100 hands or so from a session and I'd be willing to take at look at them. I've been thinking about finding some $5 or $10 nl players to try to help.

Thanks for the reply.

From memory I have called 3bets with QQ, JJ, TT and AK. And also if some suspect players make minimum 3bets I may continue especially with more than 1 caller. But generally im folding to 3bets...another reason I might call is if I have a read he defends his big blind alot with a 3bet.

Im surprised the 3bet and 4bet figures are the almost the same. Ill 3bet AA,KK,QQ, AKs and sometimes JJ and AKo. I usually only 4bet AA,KK but it depends how weak I think he is.

I do sometimes 3bet a steal attempt with air (if i know theres a high chance he will fold). If I think someone is 3bet defending and I have a strong hand Ill 4bet with a wider rage.
