So although I know there are too many variables to consider, what are some general rules of thumb on when not to cbet bluff
Some examples ;

- OOP even on perfect boards or if villain has high fold to cbet stat
- Villain has low fold to cbet
- 3 way OOP or IP
- IP on dangerous boards

Can it be too unprofitable to rarely cbet in these spots or is there some decent value to be had? And if we are using these examples as a rule should we tighten up preflop or become more aggro as we are not cbetting most if the time?

Rather than looking at it as when not to cbet is it better to seek reasons to cbet and do it as a default unless these such examples occur?

What stops you from cbet bluffing?

I sent you an email and I told you to post your sessions here. You will hardly find some good players or a coach who will spend their free time nursing you. Players pay good money for coach sessions.
But you can put your session here (with max 4 tables, or else no one will understand it) and they will look at it when they have the time.

You can c-bet bluff good boards out of position. If you do not, you are essentially giving up every time you miss and are oop. That is very exploitable and easy to spot. You can also bet bad flops in position against one player IF you intend to fire a good sized turn bet, AND your opponent seems reasonably capable of folding weak hands. (Playing the turn aggressively makes c-betting the flop more effective) It helps to have something - anything; straight draw, flush draw, over cards, a small pair, just some sort of equity so you can feel comfortable pushing out more chips.

As far as what stops me - more than two opponents, calling stations and players who raise the flop a lot.

I think if the board shocked at the range of the opponent not to do cbet if villain does call the cbet much either.
I think the best to determine when to make the cbet is based on rank estimates villain and according to what is on the board
