What are the usual changes need to be made to your preflop hand selection and postflop strategies when you play shorthanded. I know that the consensus is to play looser, but what does that really mean ? 3-bet lighter ? bluff more ? Because I've found the level of play at the 6-max micros to be a lot more akin to no fold'em hold'em than at a full table. You really can't semi-bluff those guys (even one on one) if they have caught anything on the flop they'll call it to the river.

But you get to play a lot more hands and practice playing trash hands to perfection ;)

If you are playing microlimit then you're correct, you can't bluff.. ever. Play looser, more cards preflop.

Play more aggressive and loosen up preflop, but pay close attention to odds

along with what the 2 pervious post have said if its 6 max u can depend on the high pocket pairs a little more because there is less palyers meaning that there less likely 2 hold a big hand.
