Hey everyone,
i deployed to afghanastan in september just recently returned home on a 2 week leave. before i left i was grinding out and .01/.02 nl tables. anyway upon returning home from leave i decided to add a little more money and moved up to .25/.50. i noticed that i seemed to do alot better playing at these higher limits. the question i would like to ask is do other players find the lower the limits the crazier the players are. as i said i played just the .25/.50 while i was home and about 350 to 400 hands and made around 40 bucks. i know thats not very many hands but hey i was on leave and hanging with the family. All im really asking is if anyone has noticed this before or if im just dreaming.

You might just be on a good run. 400 hands is nothing.

I guess what im really asking i think the players are better im not getting my set of tens called with someone drawing for a flush with Q2 that had no business calling on my pfr. Yeah i know the bankroll stuff and this forum has helped my game out alot but i feel as if i get better reads in higher limits because i dont run into the any two card people. Surely you guys most know what i mean.

But the thing is we want to be running into the any two cards people as much as we possibly can. If there was a $1/$2 table that had everyone playing every hand they were dealt I would be there in a flash. The more often they call your bets without the right odds the more often you make money. If they suck out on you every now and then so be it, every time that they don't suck out and call you because they think their middle pair is good you are making profits. $$$$$$

I would like to add a +1000 to this. Thank you so much for your service.

The biggest frustration with 01/02 is that while we want to get a caller when we have great hands we will often end up with 3-4 callers and this devalues are stronger hands a lot. I have never played 25/50 so I cant say this doesn't also happen there bet I am betting it happens a lot less.
